Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 27, 2026 — Effective immediately upon registration.

1. Introduction

ZZIVE ("the Platform", "we", "us") is operated by ZZIVE Inc. By creating an account and using the Platform, you ("the User", "Bee") agree to this Privacy Policy in its entirety. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform.

2. Content Ownership & User Responsibility

All content published on ZZIVE — including but not limited to videos, images, text, audio, comments, live streams, and any other media — remains the exclusive intellectual property of the User who publishes it. ZZIVE claims no ownership over user-generated content.

By publishing content on ZZIVE, you grant ZZIVE a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license solely to display, distribute, and transmit your content within the Platform for the purpose of operating the service. This license does not transfer ownership and is revocable upon deletion of the content or termination of your account.

The User who publishes content assumes full, sole, and exclusive legal and juridical responsibility for such content. This includes but is not limited to:

  • Copyright and intellectual property rights of third parties
  • Defamation, libel, slander, or invasion of privacy
  • Violations of applicable local, national, or international laws
  • Content involving minors, non-consensual material, or exploitation
  • Fraud, misinformation, or deceptive commercial practices
  • Any civil or criminal liability arising from published content

ZZIVE shall not be held liable, jointly or severally, for any content published by users. Any legal claims arising from user content must be directed exclusively to the content author.

3. Data We Collect

We collect the following categories of personal data:

  • Identity data: Name, username, email address, phone number
  • Biometric data: Facial recognition data collected during identity verification for the purpose of confirming you are a real, unique human being. This data is processed by our third-party biometric provider (Onfido/iProov) and is not stored directly by ZZIVE.
  • Usage data: Content interactions (likes, shares, views), session data, device identifiers, IP address
  • Transaction data: Nectar wallet balance, marketplace orders, payment information
  • Communications: Comments, messages, and support tickets

4. How We Use Your Data

  • To operate, maintain, and improve the Platform
  • To verify your identity and prevent fraudulent or bot activity
  • To calculate and distribute Nectar rewards accurately
  • To process marketplace transactions in The Hive
  • To enforce our Community Guidelines and Terms of Service
  • To comply with legal obligations and respond to lawful requests

We do not sell your personal data to third parties. We do not use your data to train AI models without your explicit consent.

5. Biometric Data

ZZIVE requires biometric verification (liveness detection and identity check) to ensure all users are real, unique individuals. This is fundamental to the integrity of the Nectar economy and The Hive marketplace.

Biometric data is processed exclusively by our certified third-party provider and is subject to their privacy policy. ZZIVE stores only a reference token confirming verification status — not the biometric data itself. Biometric data is retained by the provider only for the period required to complete verification and is deleted thereafter.

By registering on ZZIVE, you explicitly consent to biometric verification as a mandatory condition of use.

6. Content Prohibited on the Platform

Users are strictly prohibited from publishing:

  • Pornographic or sexually explicit material of any kind
  • Content involving minors in any sexual or exploitative context
  • Harassment, hate speech, or content inciting violence
  • Fraudulent schemes, scams, or deceptive commercial practices
  • Content that violates third-party intellectual property rights
  • Spam, bot-generated content, or coordinated inauthentic behavior
  • Content that violates the laws of the user's jurisdiction

Violations will result in immediate content removal, account suspension or permanent ban, and may be reported to the relevant authorities. The publishing user bears sole legal responsibility for prohibited content.

7. Nectar & The Hive Marketplace

Nectar points are a platform reward currency with no guaranteed monetary value outside the Platform. ZZIVE reserves the right to modify the Nectar exchange rate, earning rules, and marketplace fee structure with 30 days' notice to active users.

Marketplace transactions are between users. ZZIVE acts solely as an intermediary platform. ZZIVE does not guarantee the quality, legality, or delivery of goods and services exchanged in The Hive. Users transact at their own risk.

8. Data Retention

We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active. Upon account deletion, personal data is purged within 30 days, except where retention is required by law. Content you have published may remain visible until explicitly deleted by you.

9. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you
  • Correct inaccurate data
  • Request deletion of your data ("right to be forgotten")
  • Object to or restrict processing of your data
  • Data portability

To exercise these rights, contact us at legal@zzive.com

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, ZZIVE shall not be liable for:

  • Any content published by users
  • Disputes between users arising from marketplace transactions
  • Loss of Nectar points due to account suspension for policy violations
  • Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the Platform
  • Service interruptions, data loss, or technical failures beyond our reasonable control

11. Governing Law

This Privacy Policy is governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which ZZIVE Inc. is incorporated. Any disputes shall be resolved in the competent courts of that jurisdiction. Users are responsible for compliance with the laws of their own country.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy periodically. Material changes will be communicated via email and in-app notification at least 30 days before taking effect. Continued use of the Platform after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
